Payments, Shipping & Returns

Your delight and satisfaction is our goal, however McTeigue & Co. is not a traditional retail jewelry business. We are private dealers, with an emphasis on beauty, quality, and value. We are only available on-line or by appointment. Please carefully read our sales and return policies below.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards, wire transfers, cashier’s or bank checks and personal checks. Payment must be received in full and funds cleared before items are shipped. Please contact us directly for wire transfer instructions. Credit card purchases can only be shipped to the address on file with your credit card company.

Sales Tax

Items delivered within Massachusetts are subject to a 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax. Items shipped out of state may be subject to sales and/or use taxes and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser to pay.

Packaging

Gift boxes are not included, items are delivered in simple and secure packaging.

Appraisals

If your insurance company requires a Replacement Value Appraisal, a document can be created at an additional cost of $100 per item, for items purchased from us.

Sizing & Alterations

Please contact us to inquire about whether an item can be sized or altered. Items that have been sized or altered in any way are non-returnable. Sizing and alterations, if and when possible, are at additional cost and are not included in the purchase price. Please contact us to discuss your request.

Shipping

We offer free shipping on purchases within the United States. We endeavor to ship your item as soon as possible, however we cannot guarantee same day shipping. Feel free to reach out to inquire about shipping date. We ship via USPS, FedEx or UPS, adult signature confirmation may be required. Unfortunately we are not able to ship outside of the US at this time.

Return Policy

Custom pieces, special orders, altered, sized and final sale items are not returnable. Items purchased from our stock may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, less a restocking fee to reimburse associated credit card processing and shipping costs, provided that the item and any and all documentation and packaging are returned in original, unaltered, saleable condition. Refunds will be made to the purchaser in the same manner as the original form of payment. Gift recipients are entitled to a nonrefundable merchandise credit. If you have any questions about your purchase, please contact us within 3 days of receipt to arrange a refund or exchange. Please notify us before return shipping. 

Return Shipping

Please notify us before returning an item. Return your package using the carrier of your choice. We recommend shipping via FedEx or UPS overnight services. Please note, returns are shipped at your own risk and should be carefully packaged and insured for the full purchase price.
